Our Pastor

   

Rev. Ryan Eden has accepted the Call to serve as Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair, Nebraska.  He will be installed as our Pastor on October 5, 2025.  Please welcome Pastor Eden and his wife, Rachel, back to Nebraska. 

Rev. Ryan Eden was raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Rev. Eden graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska and received his Masters of Divinity from Concordia Theology Seminary University in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2010.  He served at St. John's Lutheran Church in Louisville/Bible Grove, Illinois; St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural TIlden and St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Meadow Grove, Nebraska; and most recently at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Winona, Minnesota. 

   

 

 

 

What's it all about?  "The big question is 'How do you know that you're saved?'  How do you know that God loves you?  Any time we start to answer that question with ourselves, "I did, I asked, I ..." we're in a bad spot.  It's all about the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Jesus binds us to Himself in baptism; Jesus washes us with His blood in the Lord's Supper.  Jesus died and rose from the dead, and through His Word and Sacrament we are promised to rise from the dead also, in the body, to an eternal life with Him." - Pastor Linnell
